For persons concerned about stress, fatigue and chronic disease (particularly cancer, HIV, cardiovascular disease, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and diabetes), this informal group will be meeting the first Tuesday night of each month at 7:30 PM.
The purpose of the group is to share ideas, view documentary and educational videos, provide support, enjoy friendship, and learn how the most recent cutting edge solutions for building energy anda stronger immune system can help encourage a more positive outcome.
In many cases, fatigue is a symptom of an underlying medical problem needing attention. There are numerous potential causes of fatigue, including allergies, anemia, malnutrition, stress, depression, hypothyroidism, cardiocascular disease, and sleep disorders, to name just a few. Treating these conditions often reduces or eliminates fatigue.

Our government has spent well over $105 billion dollars and exactly 40 years to fight it. Still, cancer ranks as one of the four top leading causes of death in the United States.
Little optimism remains that we are winning this “war” against such an ominous and insidious killer. As I talk about chronic disease, the word “cancer” remains unique in its ability to command attention – even invoke a moment of silence – in any audience, large or small.
This year, more than 500,000 Americans will die of cancer. Some six million people die worldwide from cancer every year, most of them in the developed world.
The cells of your body divide billions of times each day. During that process, chances are good that something will go very wrong and one or more of those cells will mutate into cancerous cells.
We all love instant gratification. Especially when we get to pick and choose which parts we are going to play to make it happen.
For example, I recently walked into a local nursery and told the manager I was looking for trees to line my driveway. He asked what kind of trees I had in mind. I explained that I wanted trees that would grow super fast without any of my help, would require very little water, and would not leave a lot of leaves on the ground for me to clean up. The gentlemen politely suggested that if I could find such a tree, I should let him know because then we could both get rich.
I feel the same way about gardening.
